For my painting of Afghanistan I chose a landscape near the city of Charikar. I was amazed by these beautiful violet bushes.
In the background you can also see the mighty Hindu Kush mountains.
It was a little tricky to find the best technique to paint all these bushes. I wanted to give them an interesting texture. But I quickly got the hang of it.
It took me about three days to finish the painting and I’m so in love with the colours.
