I chose to paint a view of Albania’s tallest mountain Mt Korab since, apart from some flat regions near the coast, Albania is a mostly mountainous country. You can see Mt Korab in the distance.
I loved painting all the rocks in the foreground and I also love how the shadows in this painting turned out. It took about four days to finish the painting.
