Bahrain has a hot, subtropical climate and the country is mostly a flat desert. They have been building lots of artificial islands to make more space for housing and infrastructure.
I painted a place called Al Seef in the north of the country with a view of the urban spaces around the capital city. I had lots of fun watching my painting become more and more vivid as I worked on all the details.
